The traffic to this little website has dramatically increased lately, and I don’t know why. Like, here’s the thing, guys…save for a dedicated few who just wish to keep up with me because they know me, I don’t see the appeal of these daily blog entries for the masses. They’re too repetitive, too…personal. They’re a mind dump for me each night before I snuggle into my pillow and fall asleep, you know? There’s not much “value” there for a stranger to take away.
So…bots. I don’t know why they’ve fallen in love with my site, but they’re the only thing I can think of. I’ve been doing more advertising to my books, certainly, but that doesn’t explain the uptick. I have lots of fancy methods of tracking those kinds of clicks. So, yeah. Bots. Why? No idea.
No fine distinction tonight. Too late. But the writing continues to be good. Came up with some really fun stuff today. Stuff I haven’t done before. Excited about it.
