Day 479: So close…
The novel...it's *almost* been read through and cursory-edited. And, I do mean cursory. I have my own more extensive rewrite notes already, but I'm holding off on doing anything too major until I let a couple people read it and give feedback. Rewrites! It's where the...
Day 478: Jelly Mind
Ralph McQuarrie artwork tonight from the aborted '78 Trek flick Planet of the Titans...how have I never heard about this until now? My mind is jelly at the mo'... It's been a long day. I had checked out a couple more work-intensive lessons to do because at the time...
Day 477: Z-axis
Tonight's artwork by Bob Eggleton So, while I should have been writing my blog entry for the day, I was actually watching this video about how mirrors, the ones that we use in the bathroom, *actually* flip images as opposed to how we *think* they flips images. See,...
Day 476: Quickie
Been a while since I needed to do one of these, but it's already after 1am and I have a full work day tomorrow, so it's time for beddy-byes. Got through *almost* all of my novel today; I'll be able to finish this read/edit of it by thursday (huge milestone!). I...
Day 475: Agile Sunday
Credited as Manchu, I highly recommend a look at the full image...it's the tiny spacecraft that makes me crazy about this piece. I'm obsessed with SCALE...and this one has it in heaps. Love it. Double dose today of agility with the pups. Coco went first to Agility I,...
Day 474: Ze Valentine’s
Legitimately had a wonderful Valentine's Day today. Most specifically tonight. The Ho and I went to a new place (for us) down the street at Tipple & Vine, which was this very hipster-y bare wood bar 'n restaurant. They seemed to specialize in Whisky (of all...
Day 473: Week’s End
Artwork tonight by Javier Recio, with a cute H. R. Giger and his alien. I had a solid work day today. I rocked it for *most* of the day. Fell apart a little bit between around 7pm and 8:30...but even then I was able to rally and still get more work done. Solid work...
Day 472: The lateness
The ship has been sitting there for so long, it's rotting away. The work is uncredited. Not sitting down to write tonight's entry till 12:40, so we'll have to keep this one quick. Got my hair cut, played some tennis for an hour in the morning beforehand with Justin,...
Day 471: Title?
Tonight's artwork is something...that's all I got. Jupiter as a giant tube, perhaps? It's from Slawek Wojtowicz. No idea what tonight's blog title is going to be...maybe I've run out of title ideas. I've done 470 of them, after all. Maybe 471 was just one too many,...
Day 470: Back to Me
Tonight's retro blast-off artwork is courtesy of Richard Terry Vostok. I feel like myself again. I'm not even sure if the allergies have actually gone away, but even they feel better. My head doesn't hurt quite as much. I'm not quite so tired during the day. Mostly,...
