We went and saw one of Liz’s teenage obsessions tonight; Garbage was playing at the Greek. She’s never seen them live before. How crazy is that? All this time…it’s been 20 years, in fact, since their debut album came out. That’s why they’re touring it 😛

It was, legitimately, a really cool show. They played a huge set, so many songs, and all of their album, in fact. The idea had been for them to play the entire Side 1 of the album non-stop before they even took a break and said hi…but alas…technical difficulties plagued the entire show 😛 You could clearly see they were flustered, but at the end of the day, what can you do, you know? They laughed it off and just kept on playing.

Today was also the day we came down hard on stuff (you could call it garbage if you wanted) being left out in the hallways or down in the garage in our building. It’s an issue I haven’t been firm enough on, and now we are. Still some holdouts…frustratingly so…but in the end, nobody has a choice. The office wants me to crack down, and the office will get what it wants. That’s the beauty of a contract.

I got to see Josh today, and we played some golf. It was HOT, guys…holy shit. And it’s going to be a lot hotter tomorrow. It was 94, I think, whilst the McClenney and I were playing…it’s going to be 102 tomorrow. Yikes.

Tomorrow is actually going to be a work day for me since Saturday (which is supposed to be my next work day) is going to be split in half because of Cat King’s birthday. She’s doing a movie night (Star Wars) in her back yard, which sounds like amazing fun. It’ll be warm enough for a backyard movie night, that’s for sure. Blow-up screen…kids…mayhem. It’s going to be awesome. Tomorrow won’t be a FULL day of work, however, because it’s also Joe’s birthday celebration as well that evening. I don’t know…we’ll see. It’s possible I can get a full day in. We’ll see.

I did some site tweaking today with Theincrediblog…if you’re reading this tonight on your phone or some other “mobile” device, you’re seeing the all-new mobile version. It’s featured-image-less, unforunately, but much easier to read I think, and that’s more important, right? Right. Featured images are for desktops and social media feeds anyway 😉

Catch you kids tomorrow!
