Today’s song all day hanging out with the Ho has been “Worth It” which she has just informed me is by some group or person named 5th Harmony. Most of the day, the lyrics have involved Coops or Coco, along the lines of “Ooo Cooper, he’s worth it.”
The day started off on-time with pup breakfast and then walkies. It was off to the office after that, Liz with me, and then to Ikea in Burbank where we picked up the new additions to her desk setup in the new office. We ate breakfast there…$8 for the both of us…insanity…and then we took some time to check out some chairs at Target, Marshalls and TJ Maxx…all three were a bust, but no matter. This would be the chair for me in my office to sit and write in when I don’t want to be sitting at my computer. Looking foooorrwaaardddd to that 🙂
We stopped at home for a bit to unload and check in with the dogs, and then it was off to grab a christmas tree and get Liz some spray paint for this crafting cart she’s going to be using in her new office. We just checked it out to see how it had dried, and it looks soooo cool. She got this copper/gold color. It’s dope.
I ate some food once we got home from that, and then took care of some apartment building stuff. Talked to my mom about coming down for christmas, was helping her look at hotels to stay at since our place will already be full with Scott and Addie staying here.
Then I strung the christmas tree with lights, decorations to follow tomorrow, and I put together Liz’s new desk. There’s one more piece to assemble, which I might do tomorrow…we’ll see.
Our friend Falk is a series regular coming up on a new show on the CW after the new year, and his character was just introduced in the Arrow/Flash crossover event they had this week. That was really cool. He’s well-cast, and I’m excited for him. Genuinely.
Now I’m tired 😛 It was a long day. But a good day. Despite all the running around and the “messy” apartment as we put stuff together and get decorations up…I felt like I had my feet on the ground today. I didn’t get writing done, but I am going to tomorrow and I don’t feel any angst about it. It’s going to happen.
So, yeah…it wasa good day today. Tomorrow is more of the same. Right now…rest. Good night.
