We got to attend game night tonight with our dear pals Derrick and Gary over at their place in Echo Park.
Dude, their view of downtown is insaaaaane. So freaking pretty. We played ‘Avalon’ which is this game where half the players are good and the other half of the players are evil…but the evil players pretend they’re good and try to ruin everything. It’s a lot of observation and discussion and trying to figure out who is who while at the same time not tipping your hand if you’re evil. We played it at the last game night they had.
I had a good day. I’m getting to bed a full hour later than I like, this is true, and I did not get editing or writing done today…but I simply just ran out of time. I spent the morning the way I wanted, which was watching the Niners play and building Liz’s last remaining office piece.
And then, I was *tired*. I slept for an hour solid. I’ve just been really, really tired lately. I don’t know what it is, I’m just really tired. I honestly don’t think I’m coming down with anything, I feel like that would have caught me already…but I still feel tired.
No matter. I will get both done tomorrow. It’s gonna happen. I have faith, faith of the heart. …that fucking song.
I’m actually going to plan tomorrow out, I think. Put some structure to it and make sure I get everything done I want to get done. We’re in the home stretch here, guys. I want to finish with a bang!
