The Ho and I had BCD Tofu House tonight…whaaaaaaaaat. So. Good. My tummy is currently stuffed and all warm because I got my shit spicy. Going to bed slightly earlier tonight than last night 😛 Which is good because I have some work to do right off the bat tomorrow morning.
Need to finish this pitch document for Sundance. First draft, anyway. Then I have about an hour of narrations that should still be there, and an hour of Netflix work to finish off my week. I was going to finish my pitch doc tonight so I could rewrite tomorrow, but then a night out to eat with my boo called me, and I was like “yup!” Hopefully I can finish the pitch draft in the morning, and then look things over in the evening.
Got to talk to my bro Scott today, and that was nice. He was walking around with Addie on Alberta, which is a district in Portland that reminded me a lot of Arcata up in Humboldt when I was there last summer visiting for J’s graduation. Arcata with money, for sure, but definitely a very similar hippie-type vibe. Some parts of America never left the 60s, you know?
Also played a bit of the Skyrim, but only for about an hour. That felt nice. Back to a more regimented time frame with playing the game, instead of it being more amorphous as it’s been this month. That structure-less-ness definitely comes from this desire I seem to have around this time of year to “take it easy” and just do whatever I want, when I want. The backfire to that is it usually just stresses me out 😛
I’m going to go read now before I fall asleep. Lots to do tomorrow. Wish me luck!
