The Ho and I learned something today in the great battle of allergies, 2016: Allegra doesn’t cut it. Stick to your Zyrtecs and your Clairitins…Allegra is not a suitable substitute.
It was a long work day for me, and a productive one, but the lack of allergy protection definitely wore me down as the day went on…until I remembered that we actually HAVE some Zyrtec knock-off tablets in the house, sans the pseudoephedrine, which means we can totally take the Allegra for the runny noses, and supplement a Zyrtec pill for the antihistamine. Success!
I did that, and then went for a walk with the pups, and I was a whole new man. Almost. The only thing missing was food, and then a solid passed-out-for-an-hour nap. ‘Twas a revelation. I feel so much better!
Then, Scott and Addie came into town. They had a rental car down in Anaheim for a conference Scott was attending, and they drove it up to Burbank to drop it off, and I picked them up from there. So happy to have them here! 🙂
We didn’t do much once we got back, we were all three of us pretty bushwhacked. Liz was hanging with K-Bear. We made some tea, talked for a bit, and then they turned in.
Now, the Ho is home watching YouTube videos on clogging. She has a friend in acting class who was in a clogging troupe that was on America’s Got Talent. The pups are curled up sleeping. It’s time for bed.
