This one has to be a quick one tonight, alas. It is already 1 in the am.

Work was done. Writing was done. Even watched a decent chunk of Steve Jobs tonight. Twas a good day.

I’ll end tonight’s entry with non-daily-journal-stuff with a bit about the subject of the movie I watched. I knew Steve Jobs had founded Apple, created a brand out of it, and then was fired in the late 80s. I also knew that Steve came back in the late 90s and saved the company with the introduction of the iMac. But I hadn’t actually put together that you can essentially draw a line straight from the very first Macintosh straight to the iMac, and that Jobs basically went from that one product in 1984 straight to the iMac. Two products. 14 years. Those were the two big products for Steve…well, then three with the iPhone. But, basically, his career comes down to those ground-breaking devices.

That kinda shocked me. I mean, Apple is so big, there have been SO MANY products to come out of that company…but they all are essentially interations of the Macintosh computer, yes, that same Macintosh from 1984…and the iPhone, which is a touch-screen interfaced computer in your hand. TWO PRODUCTS.

Or…at least, that’s what the movie Steve Jobs makes me think. There’s probably more to the story 😛

Night, y’all.
