So, the Ho and I had a nice little date night tonight. We walked the pups together, and while we were doing that, she confessed that she had a hankering for BCD Tofu…which I had totally been having too! So, we went, and BCD Tofus were had. And we went on got ice cream afterwards, which neither of us finished, but it hit the spot perfectly and all was well in the bear household.

I had a lazy fucking day, guys. Big time. I don’t think I did anything. Oh, I did some laundry, and I ran down to the donut shop and I picked up a half dozen donuts for the Ho and I. That is about it, yo. Other than that, I watched the A’s complete the sweep of the Mariners, and I watched the Warriors beat the Spurs in San Antonio for win #72. Only the second team to reach that win total. It was also especially sweet because the Spurs were going for some history of their own: they hadn’t lost a home game up to that point, and no team has EVER gone undefeated at home in the regular season…so Golden State took care of that business, too. They also showed that they could beat the Spurs on their court if they needed to in a playoff series, which it almost certainly will be this year. The Warriors and the Spurs really are that good. It’s practically a guarantee for the Semis.

Right now, I’m just feeling the high of having a wonderful night with my wife. We checked in with each other, talked about the future, had some chuckles…it was just a really wonderful evening. Brought me back down to earth. Tomorrow, I need to spend some time sitting down and mapping out all the things on my mind that I need to take care of, and when I can take of them. I think that sounds like a plan.

I’m a “plan” guy…I don’t know if you’ve noticed that about me by this time 😛 I just keep coming back to that quote, man, from Neil DeGrasse Tyson about living a life where I could have done something and didn’t…well, I *can* do these things that I want to do, and so goddamnit I should *do* them.

Anyway…I think that’s all I got tonight. Except back to the A’s really quick: they swept the series against the Mariners because they had solid starting pitching. That’s the key, anyway, in my opinion to whether this team is going to be decent or not, starting pitching. We have just enough offense and just enoug bullpen firepower…if the starting rotation is solid, we have a fighting chance.

Night, guys. Tomorrow…we work out! And plan.
