How is that still a thing? No free WiFi?
This hotel we’re at is pretty friggin nice…but no internet. Seriously. I hear, no joke, of “3rd World” countries that have Internet 10x faster than we do here in the states, and that’s like everywhere for free.
Anywho, the outrage is really a mild thumbing, at best. This place is actually super fucking nice. We’re in San Diego at the Omni, which is right downtown. Tomorrow night we go see Moderat. Tonight, we got here around dinner time, and walked to a place with a patio with the pups and had some pretty goddamn good food. The gas lamp is just so freaking nice. I love downtown SD. Particularly when it’s not Comicon. So nice here. So walkable. So clean. The weather so mild.
Then we came back to the hotel and went down to the pool for some soaking in the hot tub. Which was GLORIOUS. We *tried* to do that in Chicago, but our hotel didn’t have a hot tub. This one did. Praise be to baby g.
And now we’re in our tiny little beds and it’s time for sleep. J is already sawing logs. Oh, and Liz dropped her phone face-down on the walk outside to pee the pups before bed…ouch. Screen is shattered. First time that’s ever happened to either of us. But, no worries. It’s still under AppleCare. We’ll get her a new one.
