Early to rise, makes Ira healthy, wealthy, and gd tired, yo. At least, that’s what I anticipate feeling tomorrow. BUT, it must be done. The schnoops, you see, needs tires. Desperately. And 7am tomorrow was the only time that Costco had available for an install. So…at the asscrack of Saturday we shall emerge from our comfy bed and go and get my car its friggin tires.
Had a good day today. Lots of work, but also lots of hanging out with the Ho, which was really really nice. We ran some errands together, took a nap together, talked about all the stuff swirling about in each of our lives…it was a grand old time. I also had another great writing session today. And today, it was the FULL 59 minutes. That’s right, I’m up to 59 minutes! I remember like it was just yesterday that I was struggling to make it to 40 minutes. That was 3 weeks ago, so I guess it really hasn’t been that long…but it FEELS like a long time and just yesterday all at the same time. I realize that makes no sense. That’s how it feels, though. I can’t explain these things. Get off my nuts.
So spicy tonight.
Walked the pups together tonight, super late. But that’s always fun. It was GORGEOUS out tonight. This breeze that’s bringing in this sweet-smelling, slightly humid air was just the tits. Reminded me a lot of Hawaii, actually. I keep finding myself thinking about Hawaii, how pretty it was out there. How literally everyone that came out for our wedding was like, holy shit, we should all just live here. I’m sure it’s a very different experience LIVING in Hawaii as opposed to VISITING Hawaii…but that doesn’t mean that breeze out there wouldn’t always be absolutely fucking incredible. Because it was, and it would be. But, I do want to go back there some time. Maybe for our anniversary next year. We shall see.
Anywho…that’s all for tonight. I was going to talk about how the Ho and I were talking about how we ended up being nerds outside of the “cool” crowd, and I realized I didn’t really know how that actually happened to me, except that I think I was just *born* that way with nerdy tendencies…but I really do need to shut it down and go to bed. I have to be up at 6am. Yikes!
