It happened on a whim. The Ho and I have (finally!) started to watch Stranger Things. Couldn’t be more thrilled with the decision, couldn’t be more thrilled with the first episode. And that TITLE SEQUENCE DOE.

As much as both Liz and I are home…we RARELY have time to sit down and watch TV together. It’s true. We’re both such project-oriented people that we really don’t do it that often. Maybe once a week. IF there’s a show on that we both love, like GoT or Last Week Tonight. But, we both found ourselves taking an hour before bed to just zone out after a long day of work, and she offered the suggestion and I was IN.

Love it already. Looking forward to more.

That’s about all I got tonight, unfortunately. Again, it’s past midnight and I have a long day of work ahead of me. Today was a rough one work-wise…not in that I didn’t put in the hours, but in that I had several setbacks and detours through other work that needed attending-to, AND the titles I was working on basically needed to be re-created from the ground up. Some of them are a breeze, but none of them today seemed to be. But…if I can just keep my AVERAGE on target…meaning make up some ground tomorrow and the rest of the week…well, then I’ll be okay.

Writing has been going baller status. I’m at the veeeerrrryyyyyy end of the brainstorming bits for these few section that need the most work…and then it’s writing all that shit in, scene by scene, section by section. Then I type all that shit in…then I do line edits…and then this rewrite is DONE. Can’t friggin wait. Still a good three weeks away from that, I think, but we’ll just see how it goes. I’m up to 1hr 16mins now with writing…which is only 4 minutes shy of my ultimate goal. If I can write for 80 minutes solid, I’ll be a happy camper. Maybe we’ll up that to two hours straight some day, but I don’t know. More likely, even if I ever get to being able to write full time, I’ll bet you 80 minutes in one stretch will be about my limit. I’ll just have to figure out how to do that three or four times in a day when a deadline is looming.

Night, guy. Watch out for creepy branches-looking lightbulb-flashing monsters out there.
