I spent all friggin day on a microphone today.

Okay…so not ALL day, but damn near close to it. Morning times: narrations. Afternoon times: podcasting with Joshypoos. Evening times: Flix work and then some more narrations. It was out of control. But, very productive. I *almost* got everything done I wanted to.

Writing did not happen. Fail. Not happy about it. Cringed when I made the decision…but I did it. Does that make me an addict to other work? Perhaps. The idea, I guess, is to make myself an addict to the WRITING. I’m working on it. It’s not good enough, I know…but here I am. I’m going to let it go and focus on tomorrow.

And…I guess I’m okay with that. I’m happy about everything I got done today. I’m friggin wiped the fuck out, but I got A LOT done today.

Always nice to hang with the Josh. We’re soooo close to the end of season 2! We’ve been turning in some pretty damn good episodes these past few weeks. Then we’ll finish up and move onto season 3. And Ira will climb mount podcast editing. I want it to take me a month…it’ll probably take me two or three 😛 But I’m learning this time around: I will not be posting shit for release dates until I have it READY to go.

Season 2 of the original series is definitely a trip. There’s a stretch in the middle that’s about as good as Trek gets…and then there are some clunkers, and A LOT of middle-of-the-road solid episodes that aren’t anything special, but have plenty in them to make you play along and enjoy the fun.

Tonight’s two podcasts will be two of the best of the season, methinks. Some really, really good stuff. Josh and I went on a riff where we were two admirals looking over Kirk’s reports when he finally comes home after 5 years out in space and are having a heart attack over how many people Kirk got killed. Good stuff.

Anyway, that’s really all the news that’s fit to report, and it’s after midnight, so time for the sleeps. Gonna schedule out my day tomorrow, and then I’ll hit the hay. Stupid hay.

Night!
