Uuuuggghhhh…so I just realized that I’ve been numbering the past eleven or so blog entries incorrectly. I went from day #1100 to day #1001…so, I think that means that not only have I *skipped* a day and my numbering is off…but I went back a whole hundred days.

Anywho…I’ll figure it out. But that means I might have missed the only day I’ll have for the next almost three years where all the numbers are the same! 1,111. Those days used to come every 111 days, but now they’ll only be every 1,111 days. Think about that! What will I be doing three years from now? I don’t know…but, hey. I can celebrate that shit right now.

We’re in New York. We’ve made it. Woke up on time this morning, left the house in an Uber, and made it to LAX pretty much without incident. Our driver asked us about the safety pins we were wearing, and we explained to her the whole idea behind identifying ones’ self as an ally. Apparently there’s a bunch of backlash to it right now on the social medias, but at least for now, the Ho and I have decided we don’t give a shit. Yes, we all need to do MORE than just wear a safety pin to support our minority friends…but that doesn’t mean also wearing a safety pin is worthless.

But..maybe there’s some perspective that I haven’t considered. We shall see.

The flight was long. We landed in Milwaukee for a hot second, but we were able to stay on the same plane, which meant we got to move up to the front for the last leg into New York. That was dope. It was too late once we landed to go and visit Seth and Lena and Henri, so we went straight to our Air BnB, and it’s super nice. I approve. It is a GIANT apartment for New York, holy shit. We’ll have plenty of room…though the two beds are Fulls instead of queens. It’s such a huge difference.

Oh, and we decided to walk down the street from where we’re staying to a cool little tapas place, and it was DELISH. Mmmmm. So stuffed right now. Mmmmmm.

Tomorrow, we go and see our writer friend, Nathan Bransford for breakfast. Then back to Bushwick to meet up with Seth for lunch and to see where he works as a hotel manager. Then…I think we get to see my new nephew, maybe help Lena with some house stuff. We’ll see.

I am totally bushwicked (see what I did there?) right now, so Imma wrap dis up. Plus, the Ho needs the keyboard for a review of Arrival.

Night. Love you all.
