Tonight was a taping night for the Ho, and it was also the birthday celebration of one of her cast mates. As such, we stayed out way past my bed time 😛 which was totally worth it.
It was an excellent show tonight. Perhaps their best yet. Even Kathy Bates stayed afterward for the celebration. And Kristen watched the taping tonight and we hung out together in Liz’s dressing room. Kristen loved the show – she was laughing pretty much the whole way through. That was really cool, genuinely, because she was watching it all for the first time and her reactions were all genuine, you know? You only get to watch a show for the first time once. After that, it’s different.
Anywho…I had a solid, solid work day today, even if it was shortened because of filming – I’m caught up. Almost. About 1/3 of an episode behind…but it’s 1/3 of the second to last episode and then the LAST episode, so I’m in solid, solid shape.
I did a mockup of the season 2 podcast artwork, which is not the full artwork done for season 2 that we’ll feature as a banner on our site and social media…it’s taken some fiddling around with, but I like it. I figured out a way to make the text pop out enough from it. That was satisfying.
And then I went to the show 😛
This weekend is going to be awesome and exhausting all at once. Wish me luck!
