Today was a pretty jam-packed day, yo!

Started around 9 with a bit of the old food, a shower, and a walk up town with the pups so the Ho could get her covfefe. Mom and Jojo came, too. Aunt Susan and the girls had left early in the morning, so they were already out when we got up. Then, we jetted off to McKinleyville to meet dad for lunch, and we got to see where he works.

Then it was a bit further north out to Patrick’s Point, which is a State Park I think, actually, and we walked around there for a few hours. Down to the beach and found some agates, then around the part above the beach, which has a real replica of a Yurok village, which is I believe on an *actual* village site in the olden days. Before the loggers came.

Then, we drove down to bayside, quite literally where I grew up, and we got to see Tito and his wife Sarah, and their daughter Clara. I haven’t seen Tito in probably…ten years? Maybe slightly more than that? I mean, it’s been a LONG time. He’s doing great, just about to start a new job, they own a piece of land there in bayside and they’re getting it ready to build a house. It’s just beautiful up there. Really reminded me of my childhood just down the road. Woods that look very much the same as what they’re going to live in. Very excited for them, and looking forward to catching up with them again some time in the future.

Then we came home and looked over our rocks we took home from the beach, and watched Game of Thrones with blueberries, La Croix and some noosa yogurt. Aka perfection, for those keeping score.

‘Twas a wonderful day. Indeed. And I am freaking exhausted 😛

Good night!
