What a day.

What a day!

We were driving home tonight and the Ho said in the car that it’s so nice coming up here to Portland for Christmas. And I have to agree. I really, really love it. It’s cool, it’s wet, there’s family here, and it’s just…Christmas-y. I did love doing Christmas down in LA the one year we did it…but this is really awesome.

So, today: we spend time with the pups. It rained all day pretty much, clearing in the evening just in time for us to take the pups on a walk before it started raining again. But, we stayed in doors whilst it was raining and just kind of snuggled. There are videos. Check it out on Instagram.

Then JJ came over, and with her pup Charlie, we went out to Target and did some Ho-family christmas shopping. It’s kind of a tradition to do that. We go to Target and pick up stuff for Christmas, particularly stocking stuffers. Well, we made out like bandits, obvs.

Then it was back home to feed the pups and take them on that walk I mentioned. We got them all decked out in their rain coats and their sweaters and their booties. They HATE that shit. But, it’s the only way we can keep them clean! 😛

Then my bro Scott was off work, and so we went over to pick him up and we got some Tacos together. My shrimp and asada tacos were okay…but their special Fried Chicken taco was freaking out of control delicious. It was so good! We went to go pick up Addie from the airport after that, and went over to their place…

…and made cookies! So, Scott is doing a Christmas cookie exchange at work, and so we had to make 45 cookies for that. They found a recipe for some molasses spice cookies and we helped them make those. It was really fun. Here’s a video:

OMG. Such shenanigans. We have so much fun hanging out with them, too.

Now, it’s sleepy times. The pups are so. Freaking. fluffy. Up. Here. Good lord. The moisture in the air makes them just so, SO soft. I can’t handle it. Coco got to sleep under the covers in the early morning today. Maybe we’ll let her do it again tonight.

These are the days, friends. The wonderful days. Love my family.

Good night!
