Today was all about Charlie, or as we like to call her, char char.

Julianne was at work today, and rather than have her pup spend the day at doggie daycare like normal, we went over and took care of her. Guys…this dog…is so freaking sweet. All she wanted to do at home was show me her favorite toy, a squeaky red-nosed reindeer, and she made the most adorable little growling noises as I played with her. good lord. Love this doggo.

It was chilly today. Very chilly. But clear and sunny, which is awesome! We were able to walk Coops and Coco around without any hullabaloo.

We also did some really fun stuff together – I went and had lunch with Scott. We walked over from his hospital to the New Seasons down the street and got some food. Their tuna melt was fracking delish.

We also went tea tasting, Liz, me, and Scott. That was delicious. It was at this place called Smith Tea, which is apparently the tea guy who started Tazo way back in the day and then Stash. Well, this is now a tea brand it seems like he’s going to keep, and it’s super high end, I guess. Or just bougie. Either way, it was super fun to taste all the different blends and figure out which ones we liked.

Then we went and had dinner with Addie, too. We had pizza at this place they go to on the regular.

And then we came home and hung out together with the pups and tasted some of the cookies that Scott got today from the cookie exchange (which is why we were making cookies last year). We also decided today that we’re going to do baking something each year during christmas. Like, it will be a thing we do. Because it’s fun. So, yeah. The cookies from work were not as good as the cookies Scott and Addie and Liz and myself made last night, and that’s not just being “oh, of course ours are the best neener neener neener.” No, ours were actually the best. There were some good ones in the bags, but not quite the masterpieces from last night.

Anywho…we were all tired then and so we took Scott and Addie home, and now Liz is wrapping presents and I’m writing this.

Tomorrow…actual work needs to be done. Wish me luck.
