Writing this one a bit early tonight! 😛 It’s an early morning to the airport, that’s why. I’m off to Austin for the Smarter Artists Summit, a two-day conference for indie authors. I’m excited to go! It was around this time last year that I first heard about it, and everyone in the indie community seemed to be talking about it, either that they’d gone, or that they were going to go. So, I signed up as soon as I could, and I’m looking forward to getting my learn on.
I had the perfect day off today. I slept in, I watched the rest of Spring Training baseball I recorded yesterday, then the Ho came home and we went out to Pasadena and got ourselves some Boiling Point and pastries from 85º, then came home, walked the pups together, and then I sat down, folded laundry, and watched the Warriors put a beating down on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now, I’m packed, ready to take a shower, and then go to bed.
Quick one tonight. My iPad is due inside my travel bag, and some nice hot water and soap/shampoo is calling my name. Fresh sheets on the bed and everything.
