I made good progress on my book this week. Like, really solid progress. I was able to use a set of scenes that I’d already written, and I wasn’t anticipating that. The story is moving along. I still have work to do on these “dream” sequences…they’re still not quite firing on all thrusters, but I’ll get there. They’re close. I found some ideas this week that I can plant seeds for on a rewrite.

Liz wants me to memorialize that Coco started barking during nighttime pees the other night. She heard something across the street, and she was barking her little head off. It was so funny. She’d waddle for a few steps, sniff, then raise her head up and bark in the direction of one of the apartment buildings across the street, then go back to waddling and repeat the process. This was actually a few nights ago, but I forgot to write about it.

Very satisfying week.

I’m writing this super late because we stayed up and finished the cat puzzle tonight. It was just so close to being done! So we worked together and finished it. If you’re reading this tomorrow, just check out Liz’s instagram story. There’s a video there of us finishing it.

I’m also slipped between brand new sheets right now, aahhhhhh. It’s the best. Looking forward to a restful weekend.

Good night!
