I am so, so thankful today. It’s almost overwhelming…
I am thankful for my family. Thankful for my wife and my dogs. Thankful for my mom, my dad, and my brothers. I’m thankful for my in-laws! Lin was here today for thanksgiving, and it was wonderful.
I am thankful for my friends. Today most of all. We had suuuuch a wonderful group of people this year for thanksgiving. Good lord. Arg and K-bear of course, along with Ali who’s an Orphan’s Thanksgiving original (OG!), and even Matt came up from the OC. But on top of that, we had Joe and Madhuri come, and Savannah and Matt as well.
It was a truly great Thanksgiving this year. I bet I say that every year, but this one was a special one.
We watched Die Hard and Home Alone. Two of the best Christmas movies ever made! And we’ve never watched them for Thanksgiving. I know that sounds a bit weird because it’s Thanksgiving, not Christmas, but we use today as kind of a jumping off point for the holidays. It starts to feel like Christmas from this day forward.
Anyway…it’s late. It’s time for sleeps.
