Goodbyyyeeee 2018.

Hello 2019!

I’m going to keep tonight’s entry a bit on the brief side I think because it’s (obviously) late and I want to get up at a decent hour tomorrow…

But 2018 was a bit of a rough year. Challenging. Not a bad year, but challenging. I grew a lot in 2018 and I have a lot more growing to do. For that, I will always be grateful.

I hope 2019 is a “takeoff” year. I hope to reap some benefits, as it were. I have many, many plans to get there.

I got a lot done today. Most everything on my list. I’m having trouble remembering what items those were, but it was like five or six things on my to-do list. Laundry. Retrospective writing. Pups. Cleaning.

And then Arg and Kristen came over, and we had Halal guys, and we played hours of Beat Saber, each of us switching off. That. Game. It’s so fun. The levels that Liz and I have reached are SO HARD. But it’s so fun once we get them down. Arg and Kristen are going to buy a PSVR themselves 😂. We’ve convinced them.

Oh! And then I watched some of the Warriors game…IN VR. It’s this thing called “court side” or something like that. I downloaded the PS4 app for it, and IT IS SO FREAKING COOL. It’s like actually being there in the arena. Like, truly. The only limitation it has is that the resolution isn’t all that great. But, it’s enough. It’s so, soooo different. And for someone who’s never actually been able to go to a game before in person, it’s a revolutionary way to watch.

I’m looking forward to the PS5 now. Rumors are that the VR for that will be in 4K, and super high frame rate.

Tomorrow: clearing off items on this to-do list. Oh! I finished Joe and Madhuri’s wedding slide show, two options for them to choose from, and sent them links. That was something else I did.

Busy day.

Busy year.

Good night!
