What a weekend, y’all.
Felt like it was non-stop…because it was. But it was a great weekend. It wiped me out, which isn’t exactly ideal for going into the work week 😂 but, nonetheless, it was a great weekend.
Today, I woke up at workweek times (read: 7am) to get up and go play tennis with Reed for two hours…which was soooo gooood. I’m sore AF right now, which just indicates to me that I really do need that exercise, and playing with Reed is just such an enjoyable experience. He’s a good dude. I like playing tennis with him.
Then, it was home to walk the pups, which I was able to do with Liz, put back the rug that we’d laundered because Coops had peed on it (naughty dog), and then eat some food together before we left to go over the hill and…
…hang out with Lizderfer and Ali! 🙂 We played some boozy mini golf, which was very, very miniature, and very, very fun. Lizderfer and I tied for the win, but we gave it to her because I had the highest single score (a 7!) on a hole…so, she a winner. And then we walked over to Joan’s on Third for some sandwiches and conversation.
‘Twas a grand time. I really like hanging out with those two as well.
Came home. Had time to take a very brief 30 minute snooze, and then it was time to walk the pups for nighttime walkies. On the walk, I listened to this week’s Film School episode with some edit notes, came home and ate some dinner, and then dove into editing the episode down and getting it posted.
And poof. My day was gone. The weekend is over.
Time for the sleeps. See you kids tomorrow 😉
