Woke up nice and late. I was WIPED last night from all the hiking.
We went to breakfast at this tiny place in the middle of this super old resort called Gazebo and had their macadamia nut pancakes 😱 soooo good.
Then we ran some errands in Lahaina, came home, and took a nap.
Woke up, went back to Lahaina to get some Ululani shaved ice which is EVEN BETTER than I remember…walked around, that town, which is tourist-y but also charming in this old-town kind of way, and then we went to Kaanapali beach and walked around there.
So. Pretty. Good lord. Gonna have to hang out on that sand/stay at a resort there at some point for SURE.
Watched the sunset, then went to dinner at Star Noodle – that place srsly blows my mind. I can still taste those garlic noodles on my tongue, and we had the wings this time which were that 🔥. Hope they come to LA. We’ll eat there on the regular.
Now home. I took a shower. Played a little Mario on the Switch. Liz is doing her traveler’s notebook/scrapbook with photos from our first two days here.
Time for bed. So grateful and happy to be here. Miss the pups 😭
