I love my Saturdays.
They’re *my* day. I get to chill usually.
I always try to get work done on the podcast on Saturdays, but I’m never in the mood. Maybe I should just change their due dates on my OmniFocus app to Sundays, because that’s always the day that I take care of that work. Never on Saturday. Maybe I should just listen to my own rhythms and preferences and plan to have Saturdays be my un-plug days.
Just had a great little writing session. I wrote the dialogue/arguments for a scene between my two villains in Escape From Red Tower. It’s a holdover scene of sorts from the first few drafts I wrote of the book. It plays so much better now that I have Petrick on the right track. EVERYTHING plays so much better now that I have him on the right track.
Sigh.
It feels good.
Did a lot of stuff today, actually! Cleared out our patio. Finally got rid of these planters we weren’t using any more. Sprayed everything down. We washed the pillow cases and the blanket that goes on the bench out there. Next thing we need is to get the lights strung up the way they’re supposed to be and we’ll have a nice little area out there.
Watched the A’s lose to the Giants. Uuuuuggghhh. Oh well. We’ll get em next week.
Tomorrow…gonna get up and edit those podcasts.
