Liz is cracking up in bed next to me right now. She’s texting with someone. She hasn’t told me yet what she’s laughing about. If it’s repeatable, I’ll tell you what it is.

She’s texting with Chris. That’s what I know right now. She’s still giggling. It’s making the bed shake. I saw a picture of a dog covered in an orca costume. No idea if that’s the same thread as what’s making her laugh, though.

We’ll return once more information has come to light.

I am exhausted tonight.

I had a better day today. Particularly after my second writing session, which was doing analysis on what I’ve written over the past couple days.

I have a feeling that after I finish this particular sequence of scenes that I might need to go back and actually do the rewrites now, not wait, and then move on to the rest of the story. But, we’ll see once I get there. Which, honestly, is coming soon. A month? I hope? Something like that. I’ll have the first act of my book 😂

I try not to think about the length so much, but it does nag at me. I’ve created a lot of story with this one. I hope it’s clear to me what to do with it all once I get near the end. Cuts? Two books? I don’t know. I just hope I know what to do.

Oh! And got to spend some quality time with Josh for about an hour and a half today. That was a pleasant surprise.

Came home, watched some basketball. Steph broke his hand tonight. The Warriors season is a lost one, I’m afraid. Upside? Our young players are going to definitely get some experience. But, yeah…they’re tanking this season. It’d be astounding if they won half their games. And…that doesn’t bode well for signing any big free agents if the offseason 😬 It might really, truly, actually be the end of an era.

We’ll see. A team with Steph, Klay and Draymond is still dangerous with the right supporting cast.

Never did find out what was so funny. Cliffhanger…
