Couple main tasks nicely took up pretty much my entire day today: I helped Lin get his new computer all set up, and I went over to Scaddie’s and wrapped my presents for tomorrow.
Yes, indeed, we are doing our secret santa gift exchange tomorrow morning this year instead of actual Christmas Day because of Seth and Lena out in Germany–time difference–which actually works out perfect, because Liz and I will be able to do Christmas morning over here at J and Mike’s house, so it’s nicely split up between the two. AND we merge the families together tomorrow night on Christmas Eve for a white elephant exchange and a movie.
So, yeah…I got Lin squared away on his brand new MacBook Pro with his iCloud stuff all signed in and Word, etc. Also took care of the pups. Then I went over and wrapped my presents at Addie and Scott’s. Got to hang out there with Lucha, too. Good lord what an adorable dog. She’s so freaking sweet and energetic.
Took a walk after that with Scott and Dad. That was nice. Talked about the future, and how nice it was to be together for the holidays.
Came back to Mike and J’s after that and had some dinner, walked the pups for nighttime walks…oh! And it was so neat, because it was just getting down to freezing temperature, so all the dew drops on the grass were turning into sparkly crystals, and it was cold, but not too cold. And misty. It was just really, really pretty. The cold can be really nice sometimes…
Watched some of The Office with bear. She’s watching that entire show right now before it goes off Netflix. I’m not sure what made her want to watch it, like the actual inciting incident for it, but it’s such a classic comedy. Truly. It will go down as one of the all-time comedies. It’s so, so good.
And now I’m snuggling in bed with the Coco, ready for sleeps. Gotta get up early, so time to sign off. Night!
