Boy. Today was…busy for a Saturday. Which is weird, because I do actually feel kind of rested. Not completely, and I don’t know honestly if I’m going to get that from this weekend, just because of how much stuff is going on, but I did quite a lot today.
It started out with Coco waking me up right at 7:15, like she always does when I try to sleep in. But, it woke me up, so I got up and fed the pups and then took them on a walk, which was just fine, given that Liz and I were going to a special toy opening thing downtown.
There’s an artist who makes really cute stickers and vinyl toys, and stuff like that, and he knows Liz, so we went to his opening shindig in J-Town. It was actually really cool. The line was bonkers long, but because Liz knows him, we were able to get in with the first VIP/Press group. And the toys were really cool.
Then we went and had breakfast/brunch together, which was just really nice. Came home. Took a nice nap. Then got up and fed the pups, then did a bunch of stuff. Podcast posting. LA City business tax renewal stuff. Some editing work.
Walked the pups together after that, then came home and I watched some basketball—the Warriors won!—while Liz went over to help babysit for our friends with the newborn. Then I did a little more editing work, some building stuff…and now here I am, in bed with the pups.
I’m wiped the frack out. Had a nice little writing session, listening to some Skyrim music right now…and ready for sleep.
