Today was an ‘off’ day. Not in the sense that I took it off from work. Quite the opposite. I was busy as fuuuuuck.
I mean ‘off,’ in that I just felt…off today. I was tired. Much more tired than normal. So, tired, I couldn’t even do my writing sesh this morning, and I needed to take a nap midday for an hour just to reset.
It worked! Thankfully. It meant I also had to skip my afternoon writing session because I was working later than normal because of the aforementioned midday nap. But, it was worth it
I feel more normal, again. Going to bed on time. Just had a nice little writing sesh before bed.
Played a really fun set with the Ho. Walked the pups together, and it was gorgeous out. Met a really sweet husky named Luna that had gotten out of her house/yard and run around the corner of her block to go visit her friends’ house. They weren’t home—out of town—but we were walking past and saw her all by herself.
She wasn’t sure about me at first, but when I sat down to just kinda hang out with her, she decided that I was alright, and she came up to say hi. So freaking sweet. Wanted to give kisses and get belly rubs. She had a tag on, so I called her parents, and they were already coming down to where we were, figuring that was where she’d run off to.
Pups are great.
