Kill me now, because I’ve been to heaven.
I had it last year, actually, at Scott and Addie’s! Loved it last year, too. But, Liz and I went and got a bottle tonight just to be special, and we watched a holiday edition of GBBO featuring the cast from Derry Girls and we cackled the whole way through. So good. I admit, I was skeptical of watching an episode of GBBO featuring a cast of celebrities rather than real bakers. I needn’t have been. They were AMAZING. So amazing, we went and watched the first episode of the actual show. Not perfect, but pretty damn good. Enjoyed it thoroughly 🙂
Got my work finished! Almost…my upload—over 2TB worth, yikes—stalled out about halfway through the day, so I just had to kind of restart it…but it is uploading on the work internet! Hopefully it’s all done in the morning. We’ll see. But, a huge accomplishment. Very happy. Chuffed, as the brits would say.
And then, I got to take off early. I earned it, honestly, working over the weekend. But, I got some stuff done on the “project” which was nice. Then, got to spend quality time with Liz and the pups in the evening.
It was a solid, solid day. Ready for the holidays.
