Today was one of those “lost days,” but not the bad kind. The kind where you’re taking time off and the day just kind of…floats by. You can blink and it’s already almost over.
Sometimes those days make me anxious. But, not today. Today, I just kind of let it happen, and enjoyed the feeling of timelessness. I took a nap. I watched TV with Liz. We finished that murder series. It was good. Effin dirty cops. We’re watching a new one now—true crime, but not murder this time—about a dude who’s defrauded a bunch of women by getting them to fall in love with him and marry him, then taking all their shit. It’s fun, because the backbone of the story seems to be that they’ve all banded together to find the guy and get him arrested. They’re getting help from a bounty hunter. Fun! 🙂
I wanted to play some music today, but I just didn’t get that sorted. Maybe tomorrow. I have some other stuff to get done tomorrow, though. My car needs a new battery. Blech. But, I’m going to use AAA to put one of theirs in, I think. Still need to do a little research on who is best to use, but AAA seems pretty damn convenient. WE. SHALL. SEE.
I did read my friend’s book more. I’ve parceled out the rest of what I need to read to finish it. Should be done on Thursday, I think. We’ll see! I owe them some feedback on it by the end of the year, and as per usual, I’ve left it right to the end. Still should have the time I need, though 🙂
I think that’s it for tonight, kiddos. Really, not that much happened today. I took it super easy, which I think I needed. Gonna get up earlier tomorrow, though. Oh! And I guess I did the laundry a bit. New sheets on the bed, oxycleaned the old sheets and the coverlet. We’ve been really good about doing that, now, for almost the whole year. It’s worked, too. Our sheets and the coverlet are still so clean and white!
