Black Friday is probably not a day of rest for most. Obvs today is known for crazy deals and shopping and the kicking off of the holiday season, but for me, this day has usually just meant “rest.”
And leftovers.

I have it so good y’all. Liz makes SUCH good Thanksgiving food. The best I’ve ever had, to be honest, top to bottom. Turkey. Stuffing. Mash. Gravy. Veg. It’s all soooo gooood.
Watched the Warriors beat the Blazers. They took control early and never let go. It was close here and there I guess, now that I think about it, at least in the first quarter, but after that it was pretty much double digit lead the whole way. Joe watched with us, which was fun.
Hung out with Ashika. Went on a couple nice walks. Hung out with Madhuri while we could. She actually slept most of the day, which was great. She’s pulling night shifts right now in the ER. Blech. But she was more rested today when she got up than yesterday.
We capped off the night by watching the first couple episodes of Hawkeye. It’s rough, but I like Vera and I like Hailee, so I’ll probably finish it. We’ll see.
