Two things turned out not to be missing today when I thought they were.
First, I *did* write a blog entry for Saturday after podcasting with Josh. I have no idea why it disappeared, but it did. For a little bit, anyway. It just showed up on my WordPress app here as having posted LAST night for some reason…so, I just fixed the date and viola. It’s restored. No idea what happened there.
Second, the bolts for the table have been found!
This one is a relief, because I had absolutely noooo idea where they were. Turns out, I probably never really did except for the few moments in which I’d grabbed them, taken them to my car, and put them in the back. That’s where they were sitting, right in the little alcove between my passenger wheel well and the very back of my car where the passenger tail light is just outside of.
It was serendipitous to find them, too, because I was about to go looking through a bunch of boxes and bags and stuff in a little storage area we have trying to find them. I was literally on my way to do that when I happened to load something into the back of my car, and there they were. Tested them with the holes in the table and everything. Whew!
I mucked up my morning. Didn’t get my writing session in. That has to happen tomorrow and for the rest of the week. Not the mucking part, but the writing session part. HAVE to get started on this new book. That’s my ticket out of here.
Not really 😛 but…it is the ticket somewhere. Somewhere exciting. Gotta keep writing.
