Coco gives me kisses on my nose every chance she gets. If my face is at the level of her tongue, she’s licking my nose as hard as she possibly can.

She just has this “lick” energy at night sometimes. She has to get it out before she can go to sleep. It’s as close as she really ever comes to having the “zoomies.” Coops gets the zooms, but not Coco. She gets the lickums, or she gets the wiggles where she’s on her back wiggling back and forth. It’s not that Coco never runs. She runs around all the time. But that contained energy where she just needs to get it out? Lickies. Or wiggles.

I’m sure you wanted to know that. You’re welcome.

Just feeling grateful that Coco is better. She’s healthy. Happy. Full of energy and life. And so, so very sweet. She’s the sweetest dog I’ve ever known. I mean…Cooper is too. But I think the word I’d pick for Cooper is “devoted.” He’s devoted to me. Clings like velcro. Always listening to me. So keyed in. Coco…is just sweet. Very affectionate. Loves being held. So gentle. Calm and even-keeled. A sweetheart.

More painting today. Podcast editing. Watched football in between all that. Trey Lance made his second start of his career and played pretty well. Threw a bad interception, but then led the offense to a pretty dominant victory in the second half with some very, very impressive throws. It was an encouraging game, no doubt.

Time for sleep. Back to the grind tomorrow. Netflix work…and outlining. Probs gonna be exhausted after it all, but that’s okay. Onward!

Let’s do this 2022.
