In three hundred days…so that’s right around the end of this year?…it will be an entry of all threes. Four of them. And about three years after that, it will be all fours. Four of them.

I love those kind of milestones. They come around so infrequently, they’re really quite special.

Next year, you guys, at the END of the year…it will be ten years since I started this thing. Crazy. I was just figuring out back then that I wanted to write instead of act, and I knew nothing about how to do it. I’ve…come a long way since then. I’m outlining my third novel right now. I hope to have many, many more out by the time I hit that milestone…a few hundred podcast episodes…a couple jobs…married. SO MUCH has happened.

Coops keeps getting a hurt back left paw. Not really sure why, but tonight under the flashlight, it looked like maybe it’s because his paw pad has been cracking? Maybe? If that’s the case, there a balm we can use to help it heal. Maybe at night. Put him in the donut of shame while we sleep, and then he can be normal during the day? We’ll see. Poor guy. Doesn’t appear to be anything serious, though. Keeps happening, and then he’s fine a day or so later. And he can definitely walk on it in the meantime, but he prefers not to.

Coco’s a champ. They’re both all fluffy right now because Liz brushed them out.

We had a date night tonight! Liz got us tickets to go see the Miyazaki exhibit at the Academy museum, which is over in the same complex on Wilshire as LACMA—where we were for Thilde’s birthday scavenger hunt a little while back. It was SO FUN. Miyazaki is a goddamn genius, and the artwork that Studio Ghibli put out is literally mind-blowing to look at. It was super SUPER fucking cool. I’d looooooove one day to own one of those art department backdrop paintings. The detail on them blew my mind. I know I already said that, but it’s worth repeating.

Such a fun night. Watched Black and Missing on the couch together when we got home. A perfect night. Love you, bear!

Night night.
