It was a day of all twos today! 2/2/22.
Chilly day outside. Didn’t get to see it much because I was swamped at work. Not “bad” swamped—I could handle it, and in fact, I could have not done aaallll of it today…but this means I’m ahead of the game, and that’s where I like to be, so I just bit the bullet and did it all. Plus, it was cold outside anyway!
Pups are all bundled up. Sheets are still fresh and cozy. Gonna be a nice sleep.
Writing was solid this morning. Not great, but I had my butt in my chair the entire time, and progress was made! Things are in upheaval right now in terms of the household, and that really wears on me. I feel pulled in so many directions all at once, which makes it hard to focus, but I’m proud of myself for how dedicated I’ve remained to writing every day, even through the ups and downs. And, thank GOD, the problem is not with the outline itself. It’s difficult still, of course. There’s so much to figure out and make work, but this book is going to be super fun to write, and thus super fun to read. Which is a relief. I’m truly TRULY looking forward to actually writing it. Quite the turnaround from even just a year ago, when I was filled with so much more uncertainty.
Finishing a book will help with that.
