Things are in a state of flux. Barely controlled chaos.
We came home today from up in the Pismo Beach area, visiting there for Ashika’s second birthday. It was a pretty special trip. She’s so freaking cute, you guys. My goddaughter. And it’s so pretty up there! It was particularly pretty today. 70º. A very slight breeze. Good company. We went to this park with a playground literally right on top of a cliff at the edge of the ocean. So. Pretty.
Drive home wasn’t too bad. Got to drive through some of the rural Ventura area, citrus groves and tree farms. Also gorgeous.
Now…home. The week will be busy, particularly tomorrow morning. So, now…sleep. Night night.
