An up day with the next today. I…hesitate to say it, because it’s been so up and down to this point…but I might have turned a corner with it today. That deep down sharp pain was ever so slightly better today.

The muscle pain still came and went. We did an audition for Liz the required sitting in front of a microphone for a while, and that make my neck and shoulders kind of freeze up…but the injury itself seemed better today.

I think.

We’ll see how it feels tomorrow. I hope it was a big step toward getting back to normal. I definitely felt like I could move around much better today. Almost normal.

That’s been my days for the past few, you guys. I have nothing else to report, really. I did watch a really old Sherlock Holmes movie. It was…charming. Not that great, but short and charming. They dug into Doyle’s shorts. Not the more obvious stories. Some of the lesser-known. And apparently, they did 14 of the movies, which I kind of love. There’s a blu-ray collection of them. I might buy it, just because.

I remember there was this Sherlock Holmes mystery on television once where this guy gets shot by the window, and I think the butler was involved somehow (the butler always did it, after all) and I remember I was quite taken by the show. Scared, even. I remember lots of night scenes, and a boat scene where it was all foggy…

I wonder which Holmes adventure it was. I wonder if it was any good. It’s so weird to watch something as a kid and be really affected by it, but then watch it as an adult and realize how silly it actually was. Or, sometimes, downright bad. It’s the stuff that holds up as an adult that really takes you by surprise.

Night night.
