So, the wordpress app, which is what I use to write and post these entries every day from my iPad, is so buggy sometimes when it comes to attaching an image to the post. It’ll fail quite often. My workaround has been to use my iPhone to post with the image, since that seems to be more reliable for whatever reason…
But I forgot to actually finish yesterday’s post with my iPhone last night. So it never posted. Oops. Fixed now.
Another less-crazy day. I got a living room shelf built. I aim to build the other four tomorrow. Which I can fracking do. Wish me luck. Got a buuuunch of stuff done today. On many fronts, too. Not just the shelf. It was a catchup day. Or a ketchup day if you’re feeling like a hot dog. Mmmmm. Hot dog.
Took a shower. That always feels nice. Cleared out a bunch of space in the living room area so I could build said shelf, and that felt reaallyyy nice. We’re going to have a dope little area over there for the TV, sitting, and books. Large area, actually. Almost as large as what we had in our old apartment, and that was huge. I’m so excited to use it.
I’m so ready to have time to just sit down and randomly watch a movie, guys. And I don’t mean the podcasting. Or special nights with Liz. I mean just randomly having time to sit down and watch something unplanned. Or play a video game. Just veg out. I have absolutely no time for that right now. None. Everything has to be planned out. Every time I sit down, I feel like I should be doing something else instead, and I should be, that’s the thing. The list of shit to do feels endless.
But…that’s moving. And I’m glad I was so productive today. It was a relief, actually. I’m finally getting to set some stuff up that I’ve been looking forward to setting up (and using).
The house really is amazing. We have amazing space. And it’s all starting to come together. Slowly but steadily. Every little piece that falls into place is a relief. Relief that we’re finally doing it. Relief that it’s amazing, and I can move onto finding the right place for the next piece.
