Solid day today, y’all. Thank LAWD.
I needed to rock it today on the work front. Did that. Whew.
I needed to have a solid writing day. Did that. Whew.
And then I was actually able to have an evening. Whew. Little nap. Got to hang out with Liz’s co-stars in her play (they’re wrapping up a performance of that right as I type this, in fact). Walked the dogs, and then finished watching my 49th movie of the year. I’m back on track, baby! Almost all caught up. In fact, I guess I am caught up, since I need to watch 50 by the end of this month, and we’re still quite a ways away from that and I’m already at 49.
Such a stupid thing to fixate on…but I do love me a little project. They’re fun, they’re satisfying to complete, and I love movies. I’ve seen SO MANY movies this year so far that I would never have watched just because of this little challenge.
Now…sleep. The one misstep today was that I didn’t get up on time. I still got up early enough to get my writing in…but not exactly what I wanted. So, to bed.
