Pretty epic day today.
I finished a major client project. All the way to the end. Sent it off. And then worked all day on an asset for the Flix work. A fun one. Creative. Which means it definitely took a lot out of me to do it…but I hope they like it. Still needs some tightening tomorrow, but I’ll send it off and wait for feedback.
I actually have two other titles I have to do the same thing for, make an edit that’s similar to another asset that’s been done for that title. I’m essentially making the “control” variable for them to test the real asset up against, see if it does better than what I created…see if all the extra effort pays off. I guess that kind of means that they’re hoping MY asset fails…but it’s still cool. It’s kinda my job to make mine as good as I can, a close to as good as the test asset is. Hopefully I did.
No new pages today. No new pages yesterday either. I’ve had too much other work to do. Sigh. Not happy about that. But, I’ll be able to jam Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Crush those days, and I’m right back in business. And SUPER close to finishing the book. Wish me luck on that. I want to be done so bad. But, these things take time and effort. Can’t do it all in a day.
