We got to hang out with our friends Ali and Lizderfer tonight and it was SO NICE TO SEE THEM. They came over for my birthday, but we didn’t really get to hang one on one. Well, we did tonight and it was glorious. Talked about buying houses and moving, talked about spooky movies and good television. Just enjoyed each other’s company.
I’m about an hour of reading away from finishing my book and all the stuff I caught that needs fixing. Whew! It’s going to be a fucking DAY to get all that shit done…but damn it feels good to actually read the thing. It’s a good book. A grand adventure. I hope people will like it. Our heroes take their lumps, but they dish them out, too. We. Shall. SEE!
Had a great therapy sesh. Then worked all day. Within spittin’ distance of finishing the aforementioned reading and note-taking. Got an episode out of the podcast, which puts me on target to actually get all of our spooky season episodes out into the feed before halloween. Woohoo!
Tomorrow…it’s finish the book. Edit one last podcast episode. Get things sorted for the conference, and finish this work project. Whew. That’s a lot.
