We watched Glass Onion tonight as a fam. I’d actually seen it for work, but not really; pulling clips, watching most of it at double speed for efficiency’s sake. I haven’t added any of the material I watch for work onto my movie list for the year, so it was cool to just sit and watch it from beginning to end and put it on the list.
I love that the “master detective” genre is having a little moment. It’s such an old school genre. Very charming.
Movie itself isn’t great. It’s solid, but not quite as good as the first one. I still recommend watching it. It’s fun. Genuinely.
Had a day of hanging out with Lin. We went to the model train store together, and then we went by the mall in Sherman Oaks because he wanted to check out Apple Watches. He ended up buying one! Then had me help him set it up. That was fun.
Ate dinner, drank some fun wine and looked over the brochure for the trip to France that we’re all doing in May. Gotta star training for it! Many miles to ride!
