Sleeping tonight in a four-post bed complete with canopy. I think that’s a first. This place is INSANE. It used to be an Abbey. Now it’s a hotel. It’s hundreds of years old. Wild. The grounds here are INCREDIBLE. Just insanely gorgeous, nestled up against the base of these hills, surrounded by forest, a pod, expansive lawn with wild daisies growing in it, a resident cat, running stream…nuts. Beyond nuts.
Rode another 30ish miles today. Tell you, that e-Bike is still a game-changer. Lunch today was legitimately one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I’ll never forget it. All made by a family in a farmhouse.
It’s crazy over here, y’all. Can’t recommend visiting highly enough.
