Liz and I spent this weekend, basically, watching the Coachella live streams. Lots of artists that we really love were playing there, and it’s so cool to sit in our living room, surround sound blasting, rocking out like we were actually there. And in a way, it’s even better, because we’re cozy in our own home.
It was a very cozy weekend weather-wise. Grey, cool, and rainy. Not a major storm, but it dumped a decent amount of rain on us. Everything is dripping. We took a pair of naps, saturday and sunday, with the door to our bedroom cracked open slightly to listen to the rain. It was especially nice on Saturday when it rained the most. It would come and go, rain hard, rain soft, be a little windy, stop and just drip for a while…it was a magical soundtrack to nap to, coming in and out with it.
In bed on time, need to sleep on time. So, yeah. A really nice weekend, indeed. I even played some music of my own. No beat sync! Just by ear.
