It’s weird to get older. A looooootttt of time has passed now, in my life, at least compared to when I was younger. The years pile up without you really noticing. You’re just living your life and then all the sudden it’s been twenty years since you were in your twenties. Not a unique phenomenon, certainly. We all feel this eventually. But it is pretty wild, isn’t it? I can’t remember what made me think of that today, but I did.

Life can pass you by very, very easily if you let it. Time is slippery.

It was a wonderful Easter. We had Stephen and Thida over for brunch, which Liz absolutely freaking smashed. Like, above and freaking beyond. Everything she made, and she made like eight freaking things, was absolutely delicious. I was genuinely amazed. All the applause. And we did an egg hunt, also her brain child. And then we bought tickets for the Olympics. Steep! But we got some. And I suppose if we ever needed to, we could probably sell them second hand. But we didn’t buy with that intention. We bought tickets to events we’re super excited to go see.

Night night.
