So, Coops saw the eye doc today. They weren’t quite sure what was going on, but they did confirm they saw what I’d seen: blood inside his eyeball and some clouding of the retina. The working theory right now is that it has to do with his dental surgery. They repaired a couple fistulas, and apparently those are right next to the eyes, so it would make sense if something got inflamed or infected. He’s on some anti-inflammatories and an antibiotic. We’ll see how that does. Hopefully it just takes care of it. He gets checked again next week.
He doesn’t seem to be in any pain, which is good. No squinting. He is a little fussy about his face, so that might have something to do with his eyes. It’s unclear. He seems most interested in scratching his ears. But who knows. All that stuff is close to each other. Right now he’s passed out at my feet, happy as a clam. His energy has been great. He’s been hungry. Pees and poops have been good. So…yeah. Hopefully nothing serious.
I took him to the vet, so my day got a bit haywire. Needed a nap. But I got my writing done and my Netflix done. Nothing else, though.
