I have a new project, inspired by Liz. You go into your photos every day and search for today’s date, and you see all the photos from the years for that day and look at the ones you want to keep, and you delete those you don’t need anymore. It’s magical for me because not only do I get to clean up my photo library, but I get to take a memory trip, too. What was I doing on this day throughout the years? It’s a little like this blog, actually. I have a written chronicle, too.

I love that stuff. Marking the time. It’s anxiety, I think, at least in part. I get really anxious about time, making sure that I’m using it to its full extent. I’m a bit obsessed with productivity in that way.

I got a lot done today. I definitely used my time the best I could. I was very, very productive. Work was busy. Writing was good in the morning. And then I got more finances done in the evening, prep for Liz and I sitting down tomorrow and really crunching the numbers. It’s that time of year, I guess, when we plan out our financial roadmap. We’ve done it for three years in a row, basically. It makes sense, coming right after tax season.

No outlining, though, because of it. It is what it is. I’ll have to make that time up elsewhere, once I finish with this needs-to-be-done-now project.

Time for sleeeeeeep.
