Joy is home.

We got the phone call this morning that I was hoping for so dearly last night: all of her tests look good, she’s been eating and not throwing up, she’s peppy, and she’s ready to come home.

We picked her up in the afternoon. She was very wiggly and happy to see us. She then conked out and slept all the way home, and slept most of the time since. She ate both her dinners, she had a very solid, healthy-looking BM, no vomiting or regurgitation, and for me, best of all…she asked to come up onto the couch while I was eating dinner and lick my face. When she wasn’t feeling well, she didn’t even want to move that much. So, that was a good sign. I hope she’s putting this behind her. The doc said she’d expect Joy to be acting mostly normal by tomorrow morning, so that’s the next marker. We’ll see.

Writing didn’t happen. I was too wound up. But it will tomorrow, by the gods. Got amazing news that we’re getting a book bub featured deal for Glory. It’s my first-ever. And the first, obviously, for the Glory series. Excited about it. Should kick off our summer quite nicely. So, yeah…back to the writing tomorrow. Gotta.

Night night.
