I was able to send off my rough outline today. BIG STEP. Still plenty of holes, but I’ve finally landed on my storylines. The shapes are all there. In other words, what was before an infinite number of holes is now finite, and I can really get to work. It’s a good feeling. Intimidating, because there’s so much work yet to come…but I will get there.
Honestly, today’s feeling was that I can do this faster than I have been. I don’t mean right now. I mean in general. I can push harder when I outline and make decisions a bit faster.
So. Much. Work. To. Go.
Sigh.
But I will do it. And I am going to really enjoy writing this book.
Work was busy. I got to watch the first two games of the world cup while I did it, though, so that was nice.
Joy had fish butt tonight, so I took care of that and then we washed her.
Bear booked a commercial.
Coops is the best boy.
It’s warm, and it’s here to stay, so we took off the comforter. I will miss the cool days, sigh. But, LA also comes alive in the heat, so that’s nice, too.
Yoga day 11. I’ve stuck with it, even through my butt injury and being so busy. Damn proud of that. Feels good. It’s always hard to get down there and do it, but it feels so good when I do. I definitely need it.
